Special Children/Special Needs

Among the most underserved populations are children with special needs. In response, World Spark has created its Special Children/Special Needs program (SC/SN) offering appropriate education and life skills. Forty percent of those participating in the SC/SN program have never been enrolled in school; SC/SN is their only educational opportunity.

SC/SN provides a certified special education teacher for every seven students plus the assistance of psychologist. The goal of SC/SN is to offer participants appropriate learning assistance to prepare them for a better future. Presently twenty-eight (28) students are in this four day a week SC/SN program.
